Dazzled stores the data you give it to provide the service. You can export everything and delete your account at any time.
What we collect
We collect and store the following:
- Supporter details: What you give when you sign the petition or subscribe: your name and email, and your postcode and a short comment if you provide them. Used to run the campaign and, where you consent, to show your first name and postcode publicly. Never sold or shared.
- Dazzle reports: What you type when you report a dazzle: the date, the location, the vehicle type, your description, and your email if you add one. Used to build the Australian evidence base. Shared only in aggregate or anonymised form; your email is never shown publicly.
- Usage telemetry: Anonymous event names, page paths, and crash reports recorded by our own analytics so we know whether the campaign is being used and whether it is breaking. No third-party analytics. Never the contents of any form.
Your rights
You can export everything we hold about you, and delete your account at any time. Both options live in your account settings. Deletion is immediate and unrecoverable.
